Register of business interests
Trustees and governors have a legal duty to act only in the interests of SHINE and its academies. Where a situation arises in which a trustee or governor cannot do this due to a personal interest, steps are taken to identify, prevent and record the conflict in the minutes. Declaration of interests is a standard agenda item at every meeting. In addition, to this all trustees and governors complete, review and record their declaration annually.
