SHINE partnerships

Connex Education Partnership are part of a wider recruitment and training group. Our work ranges from providing a fully funded route into teaching, achieving PGCE with QTS via The Teacher Training Partnership, and whole-school CPD via the Thirsty Scholars Partnership.

We have worked in partnership with Shine Multi Academy Trust since 2018 and what makes us different is that we add value at all levels. Connex have sponsored conferences, organised sporting competitions, arranged for professional sports stars to attend the schools to deliver motivational talks and organised training for staff, amongst many other exciting events. We really enjoy working with Shine and are keen to give back in as many ways as possible to help their schools and, of course, their pupils.

PrimarySite provide effective digital solutions to Multi Academy Trusts and Schools to aid operational efficiency and increase parental engagement. We are passionate about the importance of developing strong relationships.

Since 2016, we have worked with Shine Multi Academy Trust to provide them with an easy to use website that holds their important documents and information. Over the years our customer support team have always been on hand to assist with any technical queries or changes to the websites. We have also worked together to provide the schools with stunning, intuitive websites and have helped with addressing any statutory compliance matters by conducting annual compliance checks across the Trust.

OTrack is owned by Juniper Education who also offer a comprehensive education support service, established to help schools and Multi Academy Trusts go from strength-to-strength.

Working in more than 1500 schools across the UK - OTrack is an award-winning pupil tracking system which is used by Multi Academy Trusts to collect, analyse and interpret assessment data.  OTrack provides Shine Multi Academy Trust with an assessment system which reduces teacher workload and uses data effectively to gain insights and produce meaningful reports.

CPOMS provide a safeguarding recording and reporting tool to Shine Multi Academy Trust. The system is customised so that the types of concerns that staff within the Trust encounter, and the types that would be most beneficial to analyse, are recorded easily by any staff member who can come into contact with a student.

Powerful reporting tools then help staff in the safeguarding teams identify issues and reduce their workload so they’re able to spend less time on admin and more time where they’re needed most.

The Youth Sport Trust is a national children’s charity with a mission to improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of young people through PE, school sport and physical activity. Our collaborative vision is for a future where every child enjoys the life-changing benefits that come from play and sport, and partnership working with our network of schools (including those in Shine Multi Academy Trust) is key to achieving this vision.

Working alongside the Shine schools we provide guidance - through our national policy knowledge and expertise, tailored resources, targeted provision and professional development - to support the effective delivery of physical activity and school sport. Together, we hope to maximise the power of PE, school sport and physical activity to achieve a range of outcomes - including raising attainment, the development of life skills, achieving potential, and improving physical and emotional wellbeing.
